Two-Day Spring Fest Blossoms with Colours and Community Spirit in Panchkula

Panchkula, Haryana: The much-anticipated two-day Spring Fest has once again brightened the city’s social calendar, bringing families, students and visitors together at Town Park in Sector 5 for vibrant cultural celebrations. The annual event is known for celebrating the arrival of spring through creative displays, competitions and community participation.

Organised by the Haryana Shehri Vikas Pradhikaran (HSVP), the festival features an array of activities for people of all ages. Traditionally inaugurated by senior officials and civic leaders, this year’s Spring Fest saw local dignitaries join organisers for the opening ceremony, emphasising community engagement and festive spirit.

Throughout both days, the park buzzed with lively competitions such as rangoli, mehndi and face painting, alongside plant and flower displays, puppet shows, cultural performances and entertainment for children and adults alike. Visitors also enjoyed a variety of food stalls and informal gatherings that added to the colourful atmosphere.

The festival also provides a platform for schools and local institutions to showcase their talents. Previous editions of Spring Fest have seen participation from hundreds of students in categories like dance, singing, painting and folk arts, making it a much-loved tradition in Panchkula’s annual events lineup.

Civic officials said the Spring Fest not only celebrates the beauty of the season but also fosters community bonding and cultural expression, encouraging residents to come together in a joyous setting. With large crowds attending each year, the two-day event continues to be a highlight of Panchkula’s spring festivities.
